Is it possible to target fat loss for specific areas of your body??

 

 

In short, NO. This is an exercise myth and is often referred to as spot reduction. There isn’t any solid evidence to suggest that you can just burn fat in a specific area of your body.

 

For example, doing 1000 sit-ups a day will not only burn the fat around your belly, nor is any amount of triceps dips going to burn off the bingo wings.

 

Building a strong set of abs is great, but you’re not going to see them unless you can reduce your overall body fat level. Unfortunately, the human body doesn’t work like that.

 

There is good news though! Through regular exercise and good nutrition, you will be able to burn fat from your entire body, get fitter, get leaner and become more confident in the processes.
